Welcome to Summer Break Farms
MDGA-Registered Mini Nubians Raised with Veterinary Expertise and Ethical Care
Small Farm. Veterinary Focused. Family Raised.

Healthy, MDGA-registered Mini Nubians from our CAE & CL clean-tested herd. Every animal is raised with veterinary-backed care and is ready to thrive in their new home.

Selective breeding guided by years of veterinary medicine experience, prioritizing health from before birth until the day an animal leaves our farm. We emphasize animal welfare and natural dam-raising to help every goat reach its full potential.
Quality over quantity. Our herd consists of MDGA-registered Mini Nubians raised with an emphasis on natural dam-raising and strong herd structures to ensure robust health and longevity
Quality over quantity, every time.
Rooted in Science, Raised with Love
When you choose Summer Break Farms, you are investing in an animal backed by years of clinical experience. Our co-owner, Kassidy, is currently pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Iowa State University. This unique expertise ensures that every animal in our care is raised under husbandry, nutrition, and healthcare protocols guided by the very latest in veterinary science.

It takes a crew (and a llama) to keep things running.
Beyond the goats, Summer Break Farms is a family operation supported by a unique cast of characters:
Stanley the Guardian: Our resident llama who protects the does and kids from predators day and night. (Just watch out—he's known to spit if he’s in a bad mood!).
Thomas the Mentor: The only wether to stay on the farm, Thomas helps ease the stress for newly weaned kids by showing them the ropes.

Quality Over Quantity
Our promise is simple: we remain a small-scale, high-quality family operation.
We believe that by keeping our herd modest, we can provide the individualized attention and preventative care required to help every goat reach its full potential. At Summer Break Farms, we choose to focus on the health and welfare of our animals over the size of our herd.
